The word Pesto is derived from the Latin 'pestle'. The mortar and pestle were tools used to crush things like garlic and herbs.

Cooking steps

Raid the Fridge!

Find everything on your list in the refrigerator before the time runs out. If you don't recognize something, wait until the hint bar fills up and click it to see an image of the food.

Grate the Parmesan!

Drag the Parmesan left and right against the grater. Click the grater when indicated to clean off the food buildup.

Food-Process the Pesto!

Follow the steps to make the Pesto in the food processor.

Fill with Water!

Click the faucet to fill the measuring cup. Fill the pot with water up to the indicator line.

Boil Pasta!

Adjust the heat to get the food temperature in the green zone. The food cooks fastest when the temperature is right in the middle of the green zone.

Strain the Pasta!

Tilt the pot to strain the Pasta. Don't tilt too fast or you'll spill.

Grill the Chicken!

Place the Chicken on the grill, and turn the food when instructed. Remove the Chicken when it's done cooking. Don’t leave it on too long or it will burn!

Chop the Chicken!

Click the knife to chop up the Chicken.
